We recently stayed there a few nights in a tent with our infant and toddler. It was a pretty good experience, except for the fairly dirty camp site. There were a lot of cigarette buds, which is especially dangerous travelling with very small children.nThe Parents Room however was pretty good. I appreciated the big sink a lot, where I could give my baby a bath easily. The amenities in general were very clean and in good condition.
We really enjoyed our stay here, it’s a great location, stones throw from the beach and in the middle of Sea World and Cavil Ave/Surfers both 2km away.nnThe park has a fairly new and modern amenities block, a nice pool for the kids and reasonably quiet considering its proximity to all the appartments and town centre.nnThey are scheduled to close from February for a long period to do some upgrades to the park, hopefully not too long, but we look forward to seeing how it turns out when they reopen.
Absolutely the best caravan park we have stayed in. Amenities are near new. Excellent laundry. All the grounds are manicured. Pool is excellent. Walk across the road to main Beach or a short walk out the back gate to the main shopping street.
Just stayed for the weekend at the Main Beach Tourist Park on the weekend of the GC500. I cant say enough about the facilities, the room and the staff. Everything was above my expectation, and I was so surprised for a local caravan park.nnTo the end point the personal hygiene pack supplied by Lula was perfectly timed for me. At the sticky point of the day 11:30pm I needed just this, thank you for seeing this as a value point for your female guests. It was very much appreciated.nnWe will be back every chance we get. Thank you again Nicki and Allan, and staff for everything.
Can I say what an amazing Caravan Park experience it was, my husband and I went for the long weekend and was brilliant! Amenities were like new,all the grounds were manicured,and walk across the road to main beach also had the surf club as well!nThe staff was very friendly and if I could give them a 10 I would.. Can’t wait to go back again there
