Beach is of course superb. The nearby toilets are a disgrace - the local council might like to consider injecting some of their indulgent Commonwealth games budget into improving local facilities.

Very hot day but lovely at the Pavilion, old world feel with open breezy dining area, right across from the beach. Nestled away from the main road, with lots of street parking.

Good spot to sit on the beach and watch the people walk by... so grab a towel come sit or swim a bit..the life guard tower is close by...plus you can buy lunch or cool drink from the cafe.
