Hopefully the rubbish in the creek by walkbridge, northest side of park get cleaned up. Alot of rubbish in there. Other than that great recreational facilities.
Had the pleasure yesterday to enjoy watching the Trans Tasman Cup between the AUSsuperstars Junior Rugby Academy v New Zealand junior Rugby union at the Bill Norris Oval complex, which is located at 39 Boundary St, Beenleigh QLD 4207.nnThe age groups of children playing range from Under10 to Under 18's. It provides an excellent opportunity for junior rugby players to play for both countries against quality opponents. nnThe Bill Norris Oval complex has 4 playing fields, so there was action aplenty for most of the morning with New Zealand taking out the Trans Tasman Cup with the overall win ratio.nnThis sporting complex has a range of other playing fields for other sports & there is a large skateboard facility nearby.nnThere is plenty of adequate open air parking available inside the complex with extra parking outside the fenced off area.nnThere is a covered grandstand where canteen facilities are located where you can purchase hot food, drinks, plus some alcohol beverages.nThere are toilets facilities inside the main building.nnWhen you visit Bill Norris Oval, it would also be advisable to bring along some extra seating,tents, or umbrella as the playing fields provide no coverage nnOverall, it was an excellent day out & it was absolutely fantastic to see families enjoying their children participating in such a wonderful game of Rugby Union
It's a great oval great toilets great parking the food sort of r ok not really, it could be easily fixed.nThe people great the ones I met.nThe games with Frisbee oh great fun to watch my oldest grandson play it is a three day event I'll be going again to day and tomorrow
Okay place to host an event or game tournament. Got amenities close by and open space for kids to run around. Not much in the way of shades so must bring your tents and umbrellas if you staying long. Skateboard park close by and good parking areas too.
Awesome old school footy oval, have spent many hours here watching my son play rugby league and touch.
