A lovely camping site with loads of activities to participate in with family and friends! Staff were very helpful and informative. There were a lot of camp sites available at the time and also some fun activities to participate in like the putt putt golf situated by the campsite, a cafe and small swimming stream nearby was refreshing on a hot day. If you wanted more of a swim then the Cedar Creek Falls Rd located nearby is an option with a 5 minute walk away from the campsite providing a lot of clean fresh water swim holes you can go for a dip in. While there you could also watch people doing jumping into the water and attempting various water bombs, you could attempt one safely for yourself too if adventurous or relax in a quiet freshwater pool of your choice! If that wasn't enough, located nearby in the quaint picturesque village overlooking the Tambourine valleys is a high tea and functions centre with a beautiful and tranquil garden cafe, loads of nature walks, more cafes as well as an adventure park for climbing trees. The main town of Tambourine was only a few minutes away which spoils you with wineries, antique shops, arts and crafts and a multitude of tourist spots to cater to your needs. All in all a fantastic getaway next to the Gold Coast, a few minutes drive from Brisbane and more country side adventures in the Beautiful Tambourine mountains.

Fantastic time had by all, a lot of fun, great bonding time, highly recommend. HINT: you will get out want you put into it, thunder eggs don’t jump in your buckets, you need too look and dig - plenty there. My 6 yr old daughter found them but she is a little doer, filled her own bucket up, plus got the biggest one in the family (35 cm by 8cm in diameter) Took family (6 yr girl, 8 yr boy, wife undisclosed age), we seriously got down and dirty returning with 4 very full buckets of thunder eggs. You need to listen at start/intro when handed your bucket and picks, so you know what you are looking for, we found plenty of them and it was super rewarding. In fact, we dug in the wet mud and had a ball, then washed off in creek before going in and getting our thunder eggs cut up Really friendly and helpful staff, spoke to one of the owners Sam, great guy super friendly and passionate about it and really cared that you had a good experience. Ben the guy who cut up most of our rocks, likewise was so passionate and a wealth of knowledge. Georgina was also very patient with our kids. Really appreciate all the time and effort with the kids, especially keeping separate piles to avoid potential melt down after a big dig. In closing, Great family day out well worth every cent spent, lots to see and do. We will certainly return, nothing like finding your own beautiful thunder eggs. Kids loved it, also very educational Would give 10 stars if I could as wonderful all round experience and one of the highlights of our trip. HINT: dress appropriately, take sunscreen, plenty of water and/or fooda d enjoy! :)

Stayed in a bunkhouse for a family of 6. Unfortunately, on the day we arrived, there was no running water to the amenities block or Sapphire Room due to a malfunction, but no information was given to let us know that there was no running water or where the nearest alternatives were in the park. Cabins are basic. Sapphire Room floor was really dirty, no TV working, no games tables set up. Ordered firewood but was not given it upon checking in, had to go back down and chase that up. Location is great and the stay was otherwise lovely and peaceful. The Rock pools are fantastic for kids and the sound of running water at night was a pleasure. Kids enjoyed mini golf and the Treetop Challenge. Staff are friendly. Will stay again.

Great camp sites with all amenities, including laundry and dryer. Staff were friendly. Weather was tropical when we visited, we were able to lit camp fire in front of our tent. Need to spend 2 days in site to cover adventures : Tree climbing, laser games, mini golf course, basketball court, bistro and river to have a nice dip. No social BBQ available, so do bring your portable BBQ. Nearby to the site, you would find waterfalls and trekking. Happy Camping !!

We stayed in one of the creek cabins which was lovely, quiet and mostly private. The only negative was the floors were dirty. The kiosk food was terrible. Dinner at the restaurant was disappointing. The buffet breakfast had good variety and was enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall the kids loved the activities there, although it is costly.
