We had the best holiday. This park was amazing the kids had an absolute ball, there was so much for them to do here they made friends everyone at the park was so friendly. The park was so clean its definately a hidden paradise. Were already thinking about booking our next holiday the kids didn’t want to leave. Thanks for our amazing stay and what made it even better we had a cabin with washer and dryer so now weve arrived home theres no washing to do just put the clothes away. This has been the best holiday experience as a family of 5 with a baby. Thanks guys see you next time
This is the second time I have stayed here. A great place to stay for the kids! They had a ball, so many activities! All Staff were amazing, from bar, kitchen staff and activity staff. They do need a bigger budget to buy better pens for the bingo though! We all enjoyed the bingo nights and mini golf.nnThe only downside is that the hot spas near the main pool have been removed. That was my favourite part about the first time I stayed! I was so disappointed that they have been replaced by an icecream truck. They have still have a couple near another pool, but they were luke warm and not as many jets as the old ones If I recall correctly. I'm not sure if the temperature was turned down due to it being summer? Last time I stayed it was Autumn. We loved the pools anyway. Overall a fantastic few days, thank you!
We recently hired a room at Treasure Island and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.nnShortly after arriving, my son began severely sneezing, rubbing his nose, and his eyes were watering. When I looked around the room, I noticed that all three ceiling fans in the were caked in thick dust. After climbing up to check, it was clear the dust had built up over what appeared to be years.nnI then checked the air conditioning unit. The filters looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time, and there was visible black mould throughout the entire unit. I know this to be mould as i work with HVAC systems And these units at treasure Island don’t look to have had a proper deep pressure clean for at least 5 years at a minimum, We stayed during hot weather and were unable to use either the fans or the air conditioning due to the level of dust and toxic mould buildup.nnFor the price we paid per night, this was incredibly disappointing. While the floors, benches, and bathrooms appeared surface-cleaned, it was evident that no consistent deep cleaning or maintenance is being done on essential items like fans and air conditioning units.nnI would also recommend guests check the kettles provided. Ours was a white plastic kettle, and the interior plastic was completely black with buildup. I had to purchase citric acid from the shop to properly clean it before we felt comfortable using it.nnFrom the outside, the resort presents as a great place to stay. However, once inside, it felt like only very basic surface cleaning had been completed. I strongly suggest management review their maintenance and deep-cleaning processes, particularly for air conditioning systems, ceiling fans, and kitchen appliances.nnFor future guests, I recommend checking air conditioning units for mould, inspecting ceiling fans and surrounding areas for dust buildup, and checking kettles before use.nnVery disappointing experience overall.
nWe had an amazing stay at NRMA Treasure Island and wish we could have stayed longer!nWe stayed in one of the safari tents, which was comfortable, well set up, and a real highlight of our trip.nThere were plenty of fun activities running throughout the day, and the activities team were absolutely fantastic — so friendly and full of energy, making it fun for all ages.nThe location is great, making it easy to relax and enjoy everything the park has to offer.nHaving the bistro on site was a big bonus, with really good food and a great atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to come back one day.nHighly recommend!
We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ensuite, pandanus villa. These rooms are very spacious for a family of 4, with your own deck with a bbq, outdoor dining, spacious living, kitchen and dining inside, and own laundry facilities. Bonus having 2 bathrooms. This is our second visit and I must say I was a little dissapointed with some things.nThe park was extremely over crowded which was expected being school holidays, but that also meant pools were packed on hot days like a sardine tin. No shade on pools which is a little annoying. But the biggest downfall for the park is the outdoor furniture, since staying last time the lay back pool seats have been swapped out for plastic cane furniture with white cushioning, for the pool and public areas. As you can imagine the seats have seen better days, they are stained, ripped and every seat cracked or a huge hole and not able to be used. This made it harder to sit beside the pool and watch the kids. We went to play mini golf after Dinner but lighting wasn't great on all over the course which made it hard to see some of the holes. But the course is in desperate need of a clean up, the greens are covered in leaves and debris. One of our mornings we went to buy a hot chocolate and coffee, we were a little shocked at the price when paying at almost $17 for 2 drinks. Then having to return a few mins later as the hot chocolate tasted like warm milky water. On a plus they have the karts to hire for kids. The basket ball, tennis court, table tennis, mini golf, the night time cinema on the grass, play ground, jumping pillow and splash park are all free to use. Pools are open early until 9pm. As most parks do, they have rules which are great, but no one polices them for example, no kids wear helmets while on scooters or bikes, every second kid was on electric scooters or ebikes in the park. I was watching my kids at the splash park on two occasions witnessing adults and children taking their dogs into the splash park. With staff looking on and saying nothing. Another plus is harbour town only a few mins walk from the front gate, hungry jacks across the road, woolworths up the road, coles down the road. Surfers paradise only 10kms away. And theme parks only 10 kms away in the other direction.nI would still visit again but pools need some shade and definitely need new furniture, possibly hard wearing not plastic and no white cushions.
