This is our five people apartment looks like, but I'm not sure if all the apartment are the same.nI wouldn't say it's really good, buy for me it's still ok.nThe only thing that I couldn't accept is that there is no air-conditioned apartment.nnFor the toilets, it has two in my apartment.nOne is combined with the shower, the other is separation.nnIn your own room you'll get the basic stuff like chair, table, bed without the quilt or pillow, closet, a medium size bucket.nnFor the location which it takes about 10-15 mins walk to the Tram station.
Place is run by people with miserable lifes with the single intention of making other people‘s lifes miserable. If you don’t get a place as an international student despite applying at the earliest possible time your already screwed enough. Now when basically all people you meet from the beginning live there and you throw exclusive parties what’s going to happen? The ones that already had it harder are being left alone, this can really ruin someone‘s psyche.nThe university can shove all of their mental health campaigns somewhere else when they intentionally leave people out
Griffith University is a terrible place to live. Highly overpayed for what you get: their dorms don't have any equipment pans, plates, towels, etc. which makes it way more expensive to live there. They do not take into account if you want to be in a mixed dorm or not. They also don't care about the level of English or nationality. They put four people with one nationality with one of another. They try to keep your bond even when you have done nothing wrong. Prices are way higher than market rate. Location is not great. The people that work there are not helpful.nnWould not recommend.
This place is a joke. It's a slum. Nothing works it's expensive and management is useless.
DO NOT STAY HERE if you want to live like a proper human being. No oven, no air conditioning. The place is dirty when you walk in and then they expect you to clean it during their inspections. The kitchen is extremely small and 2 of my stove top heating elements didn’t work. The apartments look robotic and extremely cheap. They try their hardest to scam people out of their bond by claiming that your room wasn’t clean during their post contract inspection even though they do the inspection several weeks after you leave just for them to claim your place is dusty my roommate was also still living there so his mess contributed to me losing my bond. The village is also decently loud on most days which makes studying frustrating at times. And , the village charges crazy prices $297 a week for my 5 person apartment for what you get considering you’re sharing 2 tiny bathrooms. If you’re unfamiliar with the area, please understand that this price is very overpriced compared to the other options around the area, they run a scam at this village. I wouldn’t pay more than $50 a week for this trash. Even the party life here was garbage. After the first couple of weeks the parties become half the size of normal pres and pres are less exciting than a museum. Anyone coming from a college/university in North America will probably be very disappointed.nnThe only 3 positives I can give this place was the service at the front desk, the events the village ran, and the fact that utilities were included in rent.
