Terrific place for all things second hand and pre-loved. Easy donation and drop-off process at the back of the store with two maybe three? large containers in which to drop off items. Can get very busy there, and parking can be tight. You get a generous little voucher for a certain percentage off for donations. Innate, the store is huge with diverse range of items, from clothes and books, to furniture and audio/video items.
Hadn't been here in years and had low expectations from my last visit but was pleasantly surprised.nnGreat size and lots of items. Not sure when they refurbished the inside but it's pretty clean. Donation centre not very inviting and scrappy though. Does the job I guess.nnLots of low to mid tier pieces of clothing, Jeanswest, KMart, Rivers,etc A below average range and stock of mens tees, particularly noticeable with lots of gaps. There were some nice items among the usual clatter and junk. Worth a stop if in the area.
Savers is a mega warehouse. Mostly clothes and homewares, some furniture and loads of books. Something for everyone. Drive up donations or park in Ringwood square.
All Savers stores have good layouts and are well maintained. Staff/volunteers are helpful. Often the designated parking spots are full so be prepared to find alternate parking. Carpark is one way traffic but people become confused because of the entrance for the donation drop off point so you will encounter people driving the wrong way.
I got two kids and we used Togo to Savers as my kids loved checking the toys. One-day went there and my little kid was playing around and one of the stuff came to me and asked it he is my son while I was shopping. I said: yes. Then she rudely said: you can't let your child just play around and need to look at them we have people shopping and you look after your kid. I got it but the way the staff talks to you make big difference. She would have just tell me we have this policy that children should be supervised and I would have understood it. Not going back there! So rude!nSam
