Ballistyx has a massive range of snowboards all year round. We have been selling snowboards for 25 years and when it comes to advice we get it right. Our famous guaranteed boot fit , we heat mould all boots and if you cant ride in them all day pain free we give you another pair FREE. Went in today and bought a board from Chloe at Ballistyx. She was really helpful in giving advice regarding getting my niece set up with a decent skateboard -fir- _for_ a beginner to learn how to get the basics for skating down. I told her the types of surfaces she has close by to learn on. And gave me options for wheels.  She was encouraging me to get the pre-built board they have in stock. But as it's for my nieces. I thought something a little more feminine would be better. Chose the Primative Deck, and the Tensor Maglight Trucks. The wheels are from Sector9, a softer compound to help absorb the bumps etc. As you can see from the photos the set up looks quite good.  The other board which I had brought in was a cheap one from Kmart I think. I had received it years ago for a birthday.  Chloe helped me upgrade the wheels, bearings, and bushings. The old bearings were all crunchy, and the old bushings had become rock hard, so had the wheels. The Old Kmart board seems to be a lot more usable now after it has had its rolling parts upgraded.  Thanks again to Chloe for all her help.

Put in an order for a deck to add as a wall hanger. Specifically wanted this one as I’m meeting the skater and hoping to get a signature. The team had it wrapped and in the post within 2 hrs of my order. Amazing thanks

Awesome shop, has everything you need, great service the owner is a great guy with lots of experience in snowboarding. Highly recommend for beginners to intermediate boarders.

Been shopping here for almost 20 years. Skateboarded as a kid and teen and now snowboarding.  Service is and always has been fantastic.

Staff here were really friendly! The dude who served me was extremely helpful in helping me pick out my first board, answered my questions about skating and even disassembled and reassembled my board when I chose new wheels for it, so grateful to that guy. Really chill atmosphere and every member of staff seemed really approachable, will definitely come here again :&gt;! 100% recommend to anyone new and nervous to skateboarding, or just to anyone in general looking for a good skate shop.

Rang the store and asked if there were any complete skateboards, a Christmas present for my nephew. Matt was very helpful and the fact that I don't know anything about skateboards, Matt was extremely patient. Thank you!

Just bought my son's first skateboard from here  Folklore brand . Great advice & great service for novices!

The workers are SUPER friendly and gave me great advise. There are a lot of different size skateboard wheels and parts.
