Stayed here during Worlds competition. Friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable rooms. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was outstanding but should have included basic coffee.
Excellent as usual. Not their fault, but upgrading the intersection at the start of the street did restrict access, similarly the update to the Shamrock hotel was not ideal. But, having lived in Townsville for over 30 years in the past. It wasn't so bad.
We stayed overnight stay at this hotel last night. Every single staff member we encountered was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, giving of their time willingly. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others purely based on my experience with the staff, particularly Jack and another 2 ladies whose names I didn’t catch, who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for them.nAlso the delicious chocolate chip cookies are such a nice touch in making guests feel welcome.
The room was clean and the bathroom was newly renovated. The Airconditioner was extremely noisy. We had my sons wedding to go to on Saturday in June and I did not get much sleep the night before due to us having to turn off the Aircon and we swelted as there was no fresh air. I went to my sons wedding extremely nI would not recommend this hotel
Good value close to the city with heaps of restaurants close by.nThe place needs some maintenance. The pool looks dirty, curtains need fixing. Lounge in our executive room needed cleaning.
