This backpackers is one of the best I've come across. The staff is very professional and you can expect a warm and genuine welcome. Very clean rooms and facilities. Very affordable and close to the many wonderful places Townsville has to offer.

The single room represents a prison cell (not that i have ever been to jail before). The Aircoin unit is way too small to cool the room which its designed for. Some of the showers don't work. This is just a place for 1 night to sleep. Look around at other places first.

I never do reviews but for this place is a must. What a meth den. Gross in every way and I have never felt so unsafe in my life before. If you love doing crack this is the place for you. Hope you guys get shut down.

Although the rooms only have the necessities, for the price you can't complain. It has a rooftop pool with nice view's. And the manager is very friendly. It's very close to the city and not very far from the strand. Great location

Avoid this place. This place was ok when i came here just over three years ago and thats why i came back for my 10 days holiday in Townsville but not anymore. Paid for a week but left after a few days. Iwas told i could only stay in a single room only. The room is just a bed and a fan. Aircon is not cold. Had to open the window and had no privacy as a result. There was no fridge to put my food in. Ask reception and was told every room has a fridge, she laughed when i said i didnt have one in my room. I asked again the next day and was told they'd put one in my room. Waited all day and still no fridge and my food had gone off in the heat as a result. Do not go swimming in the pool as the tiles are loose and cracked, one girl cut her hand bad as a result. This place should not be called a backpackers anymore as it is just low cost housing for the unemployed of Townsville, i wouldn't even called it holiday accommodation. The carpark is not secure and anyone can walk in off the street. Ive stayed in some bad hostels around the world and this is one. Im very disappointed for coming back here. Would be better sleeping in my car.
