Ritchies SUPA IGA Mount Waverley

Be careful with IGA Mt Waverly, they stick a usual "Discount" sticker on some of the goods but if you read carefully it give no discount. If you are like me, shopping in a rush & didn't read the fake discount ticket carefully & got tricked into paying more than you thought. I got caught with this trick a few times. At the beginning, I thought it was the employees' unintentional mistakes. But this is the 4th time, one would have doubted about how often can people make honest mistakes like this!!! I used to think a large supermarket chain like IGA wouldn't do things like this, may be it is only Mt Waverly IGA? May be it is the new manager? Pls let me know if anyone experienced this elsewhere.

been coming here for years, a bit pricey but convenient to have near the station and right next to bus stops :- staff is always friendly, and they sell Tylenol here for some reason

Friendly and helpful staff with a unique and innovate product range. Leaves the big 2 for dead. Big range with a small shop feel to it.

Well.. you need to come out check it yourself.. I saw something is cheaper a bit for Woolworths.. there also many ingredients to cook..

I love the fresh bread and croissants in the bakery section. They have a wide range of produce and everything seems nice and fresh. Highly recommend this IGA

Lovely local supermarket, well-stocked with fresh produce and staffed by friendly, professional and cheerful people.

I enjoy coming to this location, as the cashiers are super friendly and there is always someone around who knows exactly where something is. The deli area can get a little busy during peak times and because the store is so small, sometimes there isn’t much stock especially when things are on sale. The fresh produce area is by far the best in the area but a bit more expensive compared to your Woolies or Coles. My partner and I frequent this shop every week for the My Muscle Chef microwaveable meals, as they are the best we’ve found in the way of microwaveable high protein meals. They go on sale when they are near their expiration date which is great! A recent addition to their store has been a little home decor section near the sushi bar! They’ve got tons of cute home decor pieces that seem to be handmade, quite expensive prices though. Hoping maybe one day these go on sale!

Great gluten and lactose free range of products. Never too busy.

Staff are usually friendly and helpful. Some decent selections of groceries. The self serve checkouts never work properly. There's a homeless looking old guy I've seen there several times, who rummages through the rubbish bins outside, before entering the supermarket and touching the fresh produce such as stealing grapes from the open packets. I wish staff would actually pay attention to this disgusting guy.

Hidden gem, more like a massive deli than a supermarket I'm exaggerating. It's got a very well presented deli section, big bakery, a sushi bar, excellent fresh produce and lots of higher-end products, as well as the usual staples. Prices are slightly higher, mind, but that means less busy at peak hours.
