Their hard candy range is minimal compared to other Asian grocery stores of this size. I pop in every few weeks hoping to see something new in the candy aisle but am always disappointed.
A rather small Asian groceries but I always seems to be able to buy what I need. The selection of hawker style food on Saturday morning is the highlight of my visit every week. PS: the staff are very friendly too.
A compact neighbourhood Asian grocer with plenty to offer. With a wide range of products that include pantry and some freezer items, this place will satisfy most of your Asian cooking needs. Friendly team members are available to assist when required. Look out for the seasonal offerings for a treat.
Good range of products at good prices. I was looking for "Bamboe" brand of Indonesian cooking spices Nasi Goreng and Nasi Goreng Pedas. Sometimes hard to find in Melbourne, including Box Hill. Lion City has the full range of Bamboe products, I think. Worth checking out if you are at Pinewood shops.
When you want to look for some Asian food ingredients best to ask Roger, the shop owner. This is the place full of treasures! Don’t forget Saturday morning breakfast starts at 9am if you aren’t sure what to eat, but prepackaged take away only. Hey Roger, when is Bali peanut in stock again please
Great shop. Lots of localities from South East Asia. Friendly staff too. Update: remains a great store. Got all your essentials. Snacks, drinks, frozen food, cakes, kuihs. Great place to shop. Staff are incredibly friendly and love to help.
The items they sell are reasonably priced and the veggies are fresh. I also find their selection of goods well suited for my family. Customer service is also great. I Watsapp them for a product and they responded well. Even if they do not sell it, they informed me that they will source for it. They also responded to me the rationale behind why some items are discontinued. They are helpful and responsive to enquiries and issues. Highly recommended place to shop.
