Awesome place. Took kids (3 and 8months) and 3 loved all the exhibits, and mini q was an absolute ripper for both of them. Thoroughly enjoy. Another great surprise was the cafe was really good! Generally these types of cafes are an afterthought of bigger attractions but this was well set up with delicious meals and drinks and great service. Under 4 free, strongly recommend to anyone.

Did not disappoint. Budget a whole day to see and do everything. The staff were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and helpful. The shows were entertaining and educational- especially the liquid nitrogen show. The exhibits were well designed, interactive, and loads of fun for kids (and adults). It's well laid out, and easy to follow. It's also worth considering membership for the reciprocal entry to places like Powerhouse Museum in Sydney. My kids can't wait to visit again

Loved it! Could spend an entire day here. Staff were very helpful and those running the exhibits were amazingly knowledgeable and genuinely involved in making you enjoy and n part of the learning. Very hands-on which is wonderful when you have 2 young enthusiastic boys. Cafe is good, amenities super clean and a good amount of space to spread out and have lunch. Would highly recommend you visit, especially.with young and older children.

Have had an annual membership for years - firstly because I loved it here and now because the kids love it. Great escape in cold Canberra winters or rainy days. Nice and close to the lake for a picnic afterwards in Summer. Mini Q is fabulous for under 6's. During school holidays they limit this area to 45 minute sessions so there's plenty of time to play without being overcrowded. The changing exhibitions mean there's always something new to see and it's great fun for everyone. Check out Science Time for kids during the week too.

Very informative and enjoyable for kids . Kids can build planes and get to play that in a game. Super cool! . Can take around 2-3 hrs to visit the whole place. The cafe at the ground level is good and affordable . They also have plays or drama at certain time intervals Must place to see if you are in Canberra. Come early to beat the queue.
