Fantastic! My daughter is a science enthusiast and the discovery centre was a wonderful opportunity to not only play but see the practical application of science in our world and how it benefits people and the environment. The staff were friendly and helpful and spent a lot of time talking with my daughter and encouraging her passion for science. We will be back!

A modern hands on discovery centre with Lots of great STEM activities to explore, themed around CSIRO projects. A small gift shop. Nice coffee shop on the first floor. There is an elevator to go down to the discovery centre if you can't use the stairs.

Great place to go with your kids. You can program robots and have some fun. Also can learn about various research works.

Questacon has everything the Discovery Center has plus more. Where Questacon succeeds in making science interesting, the CSIRO Discovery Center makes it seem dull and boring. Nothing unique that you couldn't simply read about on Wikipedia. Might be cheaper than what Questacon charges for entry but it's not worth the visit. Do not recommend.

This is a great insight into what the CSIRO do. The exhibits need updating, but it well worth an afternoon to visit. The staff are very helpful and informative and will let you know more about what you've read and watched and experimented with!
