Nice place to visit in Kingston foreshore if you're interested about glass art. No entry fee, like all other places in Canberra. You can watch the glass blowing & details of the process from the viewing gallery. Great displays about glass as you walk through the workshop area. You can do glass making courses. The shop has a great stock of handmade items.
Interesting place to visit. It was good to have the ability to watch the artists working their magic from the free viewing area. I also got to witness a bit of Matt Preston filming something, not sure for what though.
This was well worth the visit. I could watch the artists blow glass all day. Unfortunately the items in the shop were above my price range so I wasn’t able to take anything home. The kids were fascinated in the process.
Fantastic place to visit and spend lots of time watching different artists use glass tomake wonderful things. All ages just keep a close eye on children as there are lots of breakable things in the shop. Great shop for gifts.
