Qscan is my preferred x-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT scans for a number of reasons. They are efficient at getting you in quickly, they take any referrals and there is little to no wait times. There are several on the Gold Coast and the staff are fantastic offering friendly service and knowledgeable information about what you need to do to prepare for each process. Southport has undercover parking available and disability parking.
The technician who saw me for my scan was fantastic, explained the process clearly and made the whole experience run smoothly. Unfortunately, the radiologist report produced did not reflect the scans taken nor accurately reflect the nature of the scan. This resulted in nearly not receiving treatment due to lack of diagnosis that was present as per the technician. Highly disappointed as had the technician in the room not been clear in communicating what was going on, I wouldn’t have been able to catch the radiologist report given to my specialist was completely inaccurate.
I have been attending Qscan Radiology at Southport for almost 5 years, having just completed PET/CT number 24!!! My Oncologist said from the beginning that Qscan do the best PET scans & I was not to go anywhere else. Quite the recommendation considering she is an Associate Professor! Every visit I am treated with the utmost respect; the professionalism & care is exemplary. Special mention must go to Leesa & Sam on my last visit. They treated me like a VIP not just a number.
Friendly staff & excellent service. Results were with my GP in less then 2 hours and that on a Saturday. Well done
2 admin staff dealing with one customer. Pleasant enough, very slack. Giving customers disks not accepted by doctors clinics and taking days 70 hours to be exact to generate the xray report. Wasted hours of my time waiting at the clinic to be told to go home. Not happy
I attended on Monday for a ctc scan but had a fall on the way there a nurse called Deb took me for my scan she was fantastic. Also Deb organised my wounds to be dressed. The Radiologist conducted a CTScan on my head to ascertain if my head had received any injuries I cannot thank them enough for for their kindness and Professionalism Regards Steve Hyman Southport Qscan
It is not the first time I have difficult to make a booking with Qscan. As prefer option, would like to book directly to the clinic where I would like to be attended. However, Qscan set up in Internet displayed the clinic but the phone number is directed to central office booking. Questions and more questions which then have to be repeated to the specific clinic. Sent scanned referral by e-mail and within minutes received e-mail advising email received but not read and deleted. ???
Highly professional service from booking throughout procedure and reports. My only complaint are the armchairs for PET SCAN patients, they are so old , saggy and uncomfortable. I wish the staff would seat and have a feel what we experience seating on them. Thanks
Absolute shocking service. After waiting on the phone, pressing numerous numbers to make a booking they would not accept booking because the referral was not with me. These people are time wasters, I made booking elsewhere with no issues and much friendlier service.
I just got off the phone and to my surprise the person who called me last week did not make my appointment and the woman who spoke to me on the phone said that I could not enter the clinic without a mask or face shield. But I have exemption from using anything in my head and in my face from my neurologist and this clinic does not follow the rules, they are discriminatory!
