Great place to have breakfast in Katoomba, strong hearty food before heading into the mountains for a trek Good coffee, had no expectations as used to the Sydney CBD with its coffee shops in ever corner. The coffee was good, microfoam was on point, holding the foam structure for more than 15 minutes. Coffee was smooth, with no strong bitter or sour notes, signs of a good extraction. Milk could have more body, but it depends on the milk they use. Overall really happy with a good coffee in the morning Food was excellent, well seasoned. Had the scrambled eggs on toast, was rich, but not overbearing, served on a side of local sour dough and a side of spinach leaves with a vinaigrette that helped to cut the decadence. The big breakfast displayed simply, was well constructed, and you could see and taste the quality ingredients used. Kudos to the staff for simple, but well made breakfast items including their coffee. Would definitely come back here for coffee and food.
