Went downstairs. Must have been unlucky on this Easter week-end, because we waited so long. Wait for water, half an hour to order. One hour and a half between appetizer and main. Staff is nice but they were obviously flooded when the restaurant was not even full. Also 60 dollars for 4 prawns and a piece of salmon is not what I call good pricing. Had cocktails upstairs, very good, safer to stay there :)

Had dinner twice while in Katoomba, traveling alone and hiking. I’m always on the lookout for local spots doing interesting food in a comfortable atmosphere for a solo woman. This place defined that! The pork belly app was outstanding. I’ll be thinking about that dish for awhile. Also had the chicken entree and a roasted tomato salad that were solid and delicious. Their homemade bread is worth ordering. Matt and the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The wine list is very interesting with reasonable prices and a selection of boutique Australian wines that was adventurous without being conceited. The room is understated and stylish, but not fussy. If you like interesting, well thought out dishes and wine in a comfortable atmosphere with excellent, warm service you should definitely give this a go.

We are having lunch here right now - cheeky beef burger and a piggy ribs . One word to describe both, exquisite. The beef cheek burger we are enjoying is better than all the fancy burgers we had in Sydney. The hints of fresh herbs lifted it. The ribs are richly flavoursome and melts in the mouth. Service is friendly. Great value.

I ordered the cheeky burger and salt and vinegar onion rings...absolutely blown away! Hands down the yummiest burger I’ve ever eaten. Would highly recommend :) friendly service and yummy cocktails as well!

We went upstairs on the promise of vegan burgers and safe to say that we were not disappointed. The Black Bean Burger was delicious, the vegan mac and cheese was decadent and the waiter was an energetic legend. I have nut allergies and was put at ease by the professional way they were noted. Cocktails were wicked and well priced too. Would recommend.
