Majestic beautiful grand hotel. Totally elegant decor, fabulous staff, great service. Available for functions and events. Truly beautiful stylish hotel and gardens. Great bar with bright caring fast efficient attending staff. Lovely relaxing lounge. Splendrous furniture attire in all areas with magnificent paintings, pictures and glorious statues plus antiques. Sensational stained windows throughout with fantastic dome in the bar area. Chandeliers and fabulous decorative carpet and fittings everywhere. A great library, bollards and piano room. A really great place to visit to see all the glories of the Blue mountains.

Beautiful old hotel. Built in the 1880s but decor from the UK 1930s. Fabulous old elevator with "close the door yourself" outer door. Rooms basic, but nice. The building itself is just amazing, a real time warp. Staff very friendly. Breakfast very nice

Went for a dinner with friends, had a 2 course dinner. Foods taste very nice, the double cook pork belly and lamb feel like melt in your mouth, would be even better if the portion is slightly bigger. Love the live piano as well, which match the ambient well. It make you feel that you are back to 1950s. Kids dessert is a big oversize though, 3 big scopes of ice cream.

Looks good, but had to have our room changed because of shower not working. Up graded to a better suite. But only after me complaining when we found out that this would not be fixed during our stay. At the price being charged this should have been better. The cooked breakfast was rather a letdown. And the maitre de was a little snappy. The less than desirable people laying and drinking on the front lawns is also a put off.

Lovely old character building. Old school downstairs bar and dining areas. The whole place has a nice homely vibe but at the same time the carpeted areas and rooms seemed a slight on the tired side, but then again maintaining a building of this heritage would be no easy feat either.
