I recently visited this restaurant with my coworkers after a site inspection. We were looking for a quick bite and ended up having one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. I ordered the Bell pizza and it was incredible - thin crust, perfect size, and amazing toppings. The service was great and the food came out quickly! 100% recommendednnBut that's not all. The guy who took my order at the counter was super friendly and made my day. He asked me if I was a designer or something, and when I told him I was an architect, he asked where I was from. When I said Venezuela, he told me I was the coolest person to have been in the pub. I know it might sound cheesy, but it seriously brightened my day, and my whole week, which had been pretty stressful! Extra points for that!nnI will be back in my next site inspection in Katoomba!
Very delicious pizza, Lawson and Hartley Vale. Fresh beer we try are Station draught, Young Henry's Lager and Mountain culture are very good. Must have patience to wait for the pizza.
Came here for a casual dinner on a Saturday night and was seated immediately. We ordered the rocket Parmesan, and pine nut salad as a starter and were pleasantly surprised at the huge portion! We also got the prawn pizza and the ham/pineapple pizza which were pretty good as well. Not the best pizza I've ever had in my life, but definitely on the good side especially considering it was pub food. My favorite part of the pizzas were the thin crust that were extra crunchy at the end!nnThe only downside is that I didn't see any non alcoholic drinks on the menu. I'm sure they could have made me one if I ordered one at the bar, but it would have been nice to see what options/cocktails they may have had while looking at the menu on the tables.nnOverall a very fun and great atmosphere! It was pretty packed for a Saturday night despite being in such a small town, but service was still great
I have eaten a lot of pizza in a lot of countries and this is in my top 5 of all time. Came here two days in a row, the pizzas were that good. Attached are the pizzas from the second day, although my favourite - the spicy salami and jalapeño one - was actually the day before, I ate it before I could take a photo. All four pizzas we ate across two days were outstanding. Ingredients were absolutely top quality and incredibly generously laden.nnAbsolutely belting pint of local IPA too.
There was quite a buzz in this place, because of the people. Staff might have forgotten how to smile and be caring. Being new there, not knowing where to order , just felt like ok...just wait till they say something...food took long to come out, later arrivals were served first- and both the orders were pizza. Pizza wasn't mouthburning hot - so might have waited to come out a bit. Taste was good, I expected more tough...but it it was it is...nWouldn't be returning to this particular spot
