Great Ambiance, always welcoming, remember your name even if we haven’t been for months. Food is good and consistent. They will move things around for you depending on your tastes. If you wish to swap meat or fish around from the traditional dish it will never be exactly the same. If you don’t like something or think it is wrong, ask for help. They will always come and sort it out, do not leave it to the end and walk away disappointed. Making a reservation is a definite. Upstairs is great all year round, however can become crowded. Depending on how many are in your party, if you want a more relaxed evening, check for any large parties with reservations. For a quiet, more relaxed experience it is worth sitting downstairs. If you wish to have a leisurely dinner ask about times available. This is a family owned business, they are happy to reply to questions about their food & the region it comes from. Look for the statues and settings you see when walking in to your left. If there is a quiet moment ask questions, we have learnt a lot over the last 11 years.

Ordered takeaway. Great tandoori prawns, garlic nan , spicy pepper chicken and daal maharani . All fabulous . So lucky to have such a long standing great restaurant in Katoomba

Excellent quality food, great value, friendly atmosphere, fast service, lots of Vege options, views in summer, fire in winter, we are locals this place is a big fav.

How can one serve such sub-standard biriyani at such a high price! Please don’t use Indian name to lure customers into your restaurant if you can’t keep up the standards. Lastly, who the hell puts potatoes in a biriyani!! Shocking!!!
