Beware of there BCS Strata management Wollongong office lezz an Steven will do there hardest to lie take advantage of disabled unfortunate people leave them on the streets. No compassion at all. Oh yes there will double dip on funds, seen this first had, Thanks for taking my house off me and my superannuation fund of me. Can a strata company get any lower than those guys? I was never given any communicate or bills for my unit and suddenly there is a letter in the mail with recovery cost, after multiple calls and emails and waiting over the phone, they told us their email turn over time is 4 weeks and i will have to pay interest during this time while waiting for my bill. These people are a joke or treat us as jokes,

Absolutely horrible. They have a PERMANENT message and have done for years that says "we are experiencing higher than usual call volumes", and then they take 15 minutes plus to answer the phone.  The email turnaround is 24 hours at best so when you have something important or urgent they're impossible to deal with. I'm on hold for the 5th time today and I said that I wouldn't post this message if they answered in under 20 minutes. And there you go.

Good information Use who lives in a community or strata should read

Our Strata Manager is at Mason and Brophy a PICA company, run as far from this mob as possible. I’m sure there are some good Strata Managers, but not the one we have.  If you read the positive reviews they are predominantly from PICA employees - trying to manipulate the stats.  We had a burst pipe hot water return that took a week to get fixed.

Waited 1 month for approval on renovation request and still have not heard back from Pica. They dust the responsibility to committee members while taking no proactive steps to schedule a meeting to have the items tabled. 1 month of not able to move into my own home is disgusting. Either you are scared of the committee members or you are not doing your job properly, it does not take more than 30 days to get an reply on renovation request. Can I have 1 month strata fee waived ?  I know where my vote will be going next time.  Update: Yesterday I was contacted by my strata manager, they have informed me that while the bathroom needs AGM, we can get approved for kitchen first, so I can start the works and move in while waiting for bathroom renovation. This is the type of approach I would have expected from the start, instead of leaving me in the dark for more than 30 days. I appreciate you reaching out to me and offering a solution, have amended my feedback.

In a time when there was so much need for clear information, PICA Group were quick to provide an easy to understand and continual stream of information to help the market understand how COVID-19 was affecting their home environments.  The products and discounts that PICA Group provide to consumers through the PICA Group family network, really help with the small costs that add up for residents and the owners corporation.  Working for PICA Group is hard work, but that’s how it should be. Powering a national network of  brands and branches with products, technology, resources and 70 years of knowledge and experience is not a small job. PICA Group is a hard-working company that is continually looking for ways to help the industry grow and evolve to enhance community living for home-owners, investors, and resident.  I'm not saying that PICA Group have all the moving parts working perfectly yet, I'm saying the company recognises that the industry can be better and is working hard to make strata and building management better now and in the future.  If you’re not afraid of hard-work and share the belief that the strata and building management industry can be better than where it is right now… come join the PICA Group family.

ppl who voted 5 star to this strata, they must be from another planet. Can a strata company get any lower than those guys? HORRIBLE!! To whoever is a unit owner, DO NOT even consider contracting PICA strata management for your property. I bought a unit in December 2016 and I have never owned a property using any strata management. their services are appalling dealing with them has been frustrating and unprofessional! They've seek a plumbing service to my unit without my permission and now they had charged it to my levies to an extraordinary amount for me to pay, it is very unfair and biased they do not care about unit owners. This strata management service does not meet a standard of good practice under its industry sector. The Financial Ombudsman will find about this matter very soon.
