Pets Galore

Dirty store and smell aside, I find the lady working, possibly the owner to have a very poor attitude, talking down to anyone who dares look at or inquire about the puppies for sale, referring to grown adults as if they are children. Continually instructing people they're not allowed to touch the dogs. Having bought many pets over the years, I have never encountered this type of attitude. When asked a simple question about the dogs, rather than responding and interacting with customers, she points to an information sheet on an enclosure and leaves it at that. Much better value and more friendly options around the Toowoomba region.

Meh. They didn't have what we wanted but they were willing to notify us when more came in. Still haven't heard from them 2 months later. We got it cheaper somewhere else anyway. I still check them sometimes because they're on our side of town for pets & supplies.

I went to this store today after parking behind Pet Stock and decided to check it out. How is this place open, it is disgusting? THIS PLACE STINKS AS SOON AS YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOOR! At the back of the store there are glass display cases with cats and kittens inside (I thought this was outlawed). I would approximate them to be under 1 meter in width and depth. These display units are located in a non air conditioned area which has no widows open and only one door. Ventilation is poor for them. They were clearly overheating inside. The litter trays were all full of poo and most had been attempted to be covered by the cats with the shredded paper. The litter tray took up about a quarter of the room. All bowls were empty. No water was in any of the bowls and also no food. On one end, the older cats lived together and I can only assume these cats have been there since they were kittens. There was one staff member more concerned about up selling their chosen food to another customers children for whatever reason. I hope they are closed down ASAP.

We went in to pets galore today to hopefully buy a puppy. It wasnt the cleanest but we put that aside. Went and had a look at the puppies which were much older (5 months going on 6) we asked one of the employers if we could veiw them have a play/pat etc to which we are told no we aren't allowed to touch them, which makes no sense as dogs at that age have had three vaccinations so touching should be of no issue (if they were younger we could have understood) we said we weren't going to buy a dog without meeting it first as we need to know the personalities work with us and our family. Once we said that they got two out of the pen but would not even allow us to cuddle or have a hold, we are two adults ansaa teenager but would let the young child who was with them handle the dogs. Not to mention they had large breed Puppy in with the Tiny chihuahuas which is an accident waiting to happen. We decided to leave and have a think rather then buy two right then and there like we had planned as we weren't really given a chance to get to know the pups. Upon leaving we looked up some reveiws and it seems we have dodged a bullet. Edited to respond. I'm sure those who are reading the reviews will see that everyone who writes something that isnt positive are liars, ironic. We did not ask many questions as we can learn majority of what we need to learn by watching the pups behaviour we know what we are looking for likely better than you as we bred and showed quality registered dogs for many years. We asked what kind of deals you would do as the pups were older and for the price we could have went elswhere and gotten a younger pup from someone who isn't a puppy farmer, which we end up doing and those people were lovely. We did notice their behaviour was a little indifferent especially when you got up to get one that was running around and it ran away from you with its tail between its legs. As a business your attitude is appaling and shameful. Had you been different in your mannerisms we had cash ready to purchase. To anyone else reading these reviews you will notice a common theme in 99% of the reviews I suggest you make your decision based on that. Also worth noting, one of the only positive reviews about this awful place ironically is done by a person with the exact same name as the owner.

Absolutely FOUL... Quiet possibly smells worse then the out house on Ayers Rock 😂 which hasn’t been cleaned since 1942. Do your nose a favour and just don’t enter. A disgrace how you remain trading is beyond me, and to those actually handing over money to these muppets your an idiot maybe have a look at how many dead animals you see next time or listen to your nose... This place stinks... and should be renamed a grave yard not a pet store.. Disregard positive reviews of friends and family trying to save a foul disgusting horrible place..
