Papas + Pace -Advanced Hairdressing

I had my hair cut by Kate, one of the advanced stylsts. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. The first hairstylist I’ve felt comfortable around since moving to Brisbane over three years ago. I highly recommend seeing her. The website needs to be fixed however as it’s not mobile friendly and doesn’t work very well.

Spending a long weekend in Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast, I googled the web to find a good hairdresser in an "emergency mode" as my hairdresser on the SC was away. I found great comments about Papas & Pace. Its central location was a big plus, but what made the difference is that they fit me in on a Monday when everybody else was closed. I went there with some anxiety as a bad hair cut can ruin your spirit. My young blond lady hairdresser (sorry but I forgot her name, apology) looked at my face and I gave her total freedom to work as an artist would do. I must have spent 3 or more hours at the salon for a cut, color, brushing and straightening. The result was top class hair cut, a cut that looked like I was going to a red carpet night. The next day, Tuesday, I went back with my son and I met the owners who came to each client, introduced themselves and had a chat. Very professional, very client oriented. The final price was expensive compared to the Sunshine Coast, but most probably in line with the city salons. I used to pay much more in NYC !!!! I'll try to come back on my next stay in Brisbane.
