The Emporium Barber (Brisbane CBD)

Best haircut I’ve ever gotten! Staff were welcoming and great to talk to. The service itself was of the highest quality. Definitely worth the money!

Classic example of a place getting ahead of themselves.....guys your a barber! Walked in this afternoon to a shop with multiple empty chairs, no customers and at least three people on staff chatting at the back of of shop. When approached (not greeted) with what can we do for you, unsurprisingly I mentioned a haircut....do you have an appointment? No.....well we couldn't possibly do that, would you like to make a booking for tomorrow.....ah no. I'm unconvinced there was about to be an influx of booked patrons. Classic example of a place not managed by the owner....retail always goes best with customers. Website does not match experience. Woeful.

Tried to cheat me. Said he had availability in 5 minutes. Then sat me down and informed me there was limited time due to his busy schedule, so would not have time to wash my hair which is included in the price. Refused to give me a discount for not being able to wash my hair, saying the prices were fixed. Left without my hair cut. Seemed like a nice guy but actually a con artist.

Very talented staff, friendly and great to chat with. Beautifully designed and laid out store.

Was there when opened at 7am. Young guy there was very helpful but barber was sick. But all good. Place looks cool. Maybe next time.
