Panmure Library

Not to be that guy but we come here every Sunday to get books for our toddler and the staff are lovely, the one thing I cannot understand is all the PRIDE flags that's hung all around the place. They went up on PRIDE week and they have not been taken down. I think I counted 6 flags. This should be a safe space not a place where an individual's agenda is forced upon others.

Lovely and helpful staff. Loved playing table tennis. Kids loved the book collection. Great place to bring your kids for hours of fun

Good range of books, however probably wouldn’t have a ping pong table in a library especially next to the quiet room!

Not sure why they have a ping pong table right outside the "quiet room". And a ping pong table in a library? It's extremely distracting and intrusive. Not a peaceful place to come and study...

one time some dude told me shut up when i was in here and then i said sorry mate and then he said im not your friend!! i dont even know who you are!

A large and well used community library. Helpful staff and superb selection of printed materials.

Great customer service experience here. Came in 1 minute before closing, like a chump, but the team were still helpful and friendly. When they found out I only had an e-membershp, Aidan was very professional in explaining why I had to change my membership and issued me a card; meanwhile his colleague went off to find the book. When it couldn't be found on the shelf, Aidan remembered it was a recent return and exactly what it looked like, making the process so much easier. 5 mins after turning up I was on my way with an exciting new book to read. Quick and easy.

Students aren't the only one that need a place to study. I work full time and take languages classes on my days off. The library gets packed easily so I arrived early to grab a seat. The fact that they kicked me off to reserve the spot for study sessions that I know don't always happen made me feel really bad. And I wasn't the only one. Not every student comes to the library to study so they shouldn't have to reserve sooo many seats that aren't all used. They aren't the only ones its not fair.
