Not happy to walk into this library and there was a large group of elderly people sitting on chairs in a circle with music playing from a portable radio. I think they were doing chair yoga or something like that.nnSorry but libraries are supposed to be completely QUIET there should NEVER be music, there should NEVER be TV - the whole point of them is to be silent. This is the way libraries are in Australia and indeed all around the world. A library is NOT a community centre it is a place to go where you should get SILENCE.
Lovely warm, sheltered place to read, access information, study or get work done. Helpful and nice staff.nnMostly quiet. Sometimes classes are held in the back, and with children noise can be somewhat disruptive.nnUpstairs quiet area is nice. However the ventilation / air con likes to make loud noises every once in a while.
Dropped by the other day to do some paperwork, good quiet area.
I love this library. Quiet place, staff helpful and friendly, well organized
