Onehunga Community Library was opened in December 2002.

Story

We are a medium sized library with a community focus. We offer a great selection of material, free internet and computer use, friendly staff and wonderful free events such as Storytimes and Wriggle and Rhume.
We'd love to meet you, so come in any time. :)

The architecture is nice, there were some artistic elements, like sculptures, and the space inside was welcoming. And there was a big chess board inside. I highly recommend it.

One of the best library. Amazing caring and friendly staff. We loved attending the kids market today with free face painting, free movie and pop corns. Kids absolutely loved it. Thank you so much to all the staff members and everyone involved
We love the library. And the story time. It would be great if the carpet can be washed properly ! I am surely the parents will be happy to chip in to get professional wash if needed !
The library is very huge spacious with good welcoming staff. The have seating area in different corners and free wifi assess and computer service too. Peace environment to study and do laptop work.good outside view too
