What a wonderful library with a great zine section and makers area with sewing machines. There is also a cafe attached which serves up some good coffee.
Excellent facilities at the center of the City and a very valuable place for Aucklanders, students, kids and the public. Lots of books, reading materials, research areas, kids area , citizens help and many more. This place is core to the community and knowledge in Auckland.
A very good nice public library to have a lovely peaceful me time.
Great place for a backpacker to research and recharge while planning their trip up north. Staff very friendly and helpful, Maori knowledge section was central. Good exhibition on colonial history. Research materials section upstairs had plenty of tourist guides to New Zealand. Clean, fresh smelling and spacious. I thought it was a nice touch to have Studio Ghibli movies playing on an unassuming wall out of the way.
A vast selection of books over two floors. Computers and printers, many tables for study, glass partitioned areas. Helpful Librarians on both levels. Justice of the Peace at certain times several days a week. Public toilets on both levels.
