Nice Library in a heritage structure, not enough seats and table unfortunately, it could improve. It has Wifi and you can print your documents with a little charge of $0,20 per page. Very quite place, good for your research and study.
Parnell library is one of my favourite libraries in Auckland. Parking can be a little tricky, but it's a very cute building and the staff are super friendly. Convenient location being in walking distance to both Newmarket and Parnell.
A range of really interesting books, especially in the fiction section. Not a lot of space but comfy chairs and tables. Had to ask for a key to use the bathroom. Is nice and warm to walk into in winter.
Amazing staff with great, free and regular children's programs/activities catered to various age groups. The new manager is wonderful and super friendly and so are the staff. All my kids love hanging out at this library! Kudos team

Very nice library.
Great library. Perfect for those who need to get away from home to study. Can however get very busy and noisy. Also keep in mind that the study desks at the far end of the library get very hot in the mornings.
Parnell Library's greatest asset is it's staff...they are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming to all.
It's a heritage building, lots of character. Worth a few millions but good to see that it's available to be viewed and enjoyed by the general public.
