3.9 - I popped by here on a Sunday night and had a couple of quick printouts done despite the poor reviews that the printing service received on here. I found Anna pleasant and efficient to deal with and the printouts were clean and clear. This is a much smaller Officeworks than the North Ryde one on Epping Road. They seem more focused on specific items like household products and stationery, and were quite busy on a Sunday night.
BARELY ANY TEAM MEMBERS!!! My click and collect was not done in 2 hours either. The store looks like a mess. And was made to wait for more than ten minutes for them to find my order when I came back for it. Three hours LATER!! Very disappointed. Never coming back here. You have lost a loyal customer of three yrs.
As one would expected in all other OW stores. Click and collect order was available spot on just under 2Hrs for this store. However, there was a bit of wait for staff to attend me when stood at their dedicated spot opposite to the cashier desk. That waiting felt like 2hrs! LOL.
Handy stop on WFH weekday workdays! Adequate parking and queues are usually fast moving for the quick stationary or gadget grab to keep your workday moving. Other thing to note is the printer resources are more limited than Nth Ryde and other surrounding stores, so if your needs are prints or photos, perhaps make sure your visit is outside the lunch hour rush!
Thanks to living locally, I'm a reluctant regular. On a good day, it is possible to buy a highlighter and/or request a very basic print and binding job. For printing, there is a snail - like 2 to 4 day turnaround for basically anything your home printer can't handle, so plan ahead. On a bad day, the shelves are devoid of a high-use components like printer ink and most of the staff display very little interest in problem solving. The print quality is variable. It's not hard to let the machine do its thing, so yes - they should at least be clear. Don't expect any attention to colour saturation etc. If the light coloured print is now unreadable, then that's your problem. And check the binding. More than once, there have been pages out of order and upside down.
Went to office works a few weeks ago. A lady helped me but said she’s going on break and her colleague will help me. Her colleague was busy printing my passport photo and said he would be back to assist once it has printed. Fast forward 20mins. The colleague was gone and I was still waiting. Eventually I asked another staff member to call the person and realised that the photo had been sitting here for 15mins. Extremely bad service.
We recently bought a Kindle from Ryde store but they ordered the wrong cover to be picked from chats wood. The lady in Chatswood worked out the problem and found they had the correct one in stock. Thank you Chatswood office works
Don't have a problem with this store. Bought a monitor last week and an asian guy with a huge hair fringe and korean name helped me out. Seems very knowledgeable and helpful. Don't see why people give this place bad reviews. They are doing the best they can.
I’d give this place 0 stars if I could. There used to be quite a few printers here. Now there is only one, because these incompetent people had to get rid of the others. So when you have to do a print job here, you have other customers hovering over you and getting impatient while you are trying to use the one & only printer. The staff members are also incredibly rude & hostile. They ignore you, and if you dare to ask them for assistance, you’re made to feel that you’re causing them so much inconvenience. Dreadful service.
Printing staff rude and. Unhelpful- had a hard time using the kiosk had forgotten to bring my office works card and was told I was lucky to be served by a staff member. Needed to call manager to understand what had happened who walked off leaving me to work out the issue myself.
