Nice and spacious showroom with each and every section well displayed and decorated. Each section has varied options and staffs at the entrance and quite fast and competent so there isn’t much crowd. Sometimes the store manager works himself in the front gate if it gets crowded so that’s wonderful. Apart from that, I feel it’s a good showroom with nice and friendly staff. Well lit and the usual Apple store

I bought an Apple Watch in 2020 and after a year and a half of normal use, the black solo loop strap snapped completely.nnI went to Chatswood Chase Apple and as it wasn’t in warranty, they said they couldn’t replace it. I asked if this was normal for this kind of strap, and the person who served me said they’d never seen it before and it wasn’t normal. They sold me a new loop strap for $70.nnThis week the new one snapped completely despite careful use. I went in to Chatswood today to report this, but was told from the outset that it’s not in warranty and they can’t replace it. The staff member I spoke to started saying that the strap was clearly too small without looking at the strap around my wrist and I told her I had been fitted by the staff member when I bought it. She then said 2 years is a long time to have a strap and that I should have been told that the loop straps break much quicker because the silicone degrades faster in the loop style - she also said people usually buy them just for the aesthetic. I wasn’t told any of this when I replaced it, even though I specifically asked if it was likely to do this again.nnShe kept repeating that 2 years is a long time to have a watch strap, but when I asked if they are only designed to last a couple of years, she said no. She showed me some other styles, which also cost $70 and up to $150 for the loop style in fabric instead. I am very frustrated that even though the watch works perfectly, I can’t use it without a compatible strap and would need to pay for a third strap with the same piece of watch hardware.nnThe staff member today was helpful, but when I asked who I could speak to in order to provide feedback on the sale, she showed me the place to give product feedback on the strap design. There doesn’t seem to be anyway to give feedback on the sale itself, or the inaccurate and quite deceitful way I was sold the strap the second time.nnI didn’t buy the replacement strap and will be looking to phase out of Apple products altogether, as I’ve completely lost trust that I’ll be given truthful information and have lost faith in the quality of their designs.

The second trip in as many months circa 4pm - once to buy a new phone on contract and another for a Genius Bar repair. On both occasions we were told it was too late in the day for anything to happen purchase or repair - why bother to be open if you can’t actually do anything? Useless.

Had the worst experience with Apple store Chatswood. Received a call regarding my complaint and no resolution. Apple has lost their customer service and professionalism. I won’t be ever buying from Apple again after such a terrible experience and escalation to senior management. No one cares or does anything to restore your faith in brand and reputation. I lodged a follow up complaint with Apple on 14 February 2024. Still awaiting action

Was in the store yesterday to pick up an item to buy online. Whilst I was there I wanted to pick up an AirPods charging case. 2 Appointments later including one with the Genius Bar and 30 minutes later,  I was told I couldn’t purchase one. Came home and purchased online in 5 minutes. Why is it so difficult to deal with humans these days?
