David Jones has a reputation for being pricey but I always find good deals when I go there particularly during sale time. They have affordable brands as well as some seriously high end ones that can surprisingly become affordable during the sales. The Spring flower show is lovely and DJs still understands what customer service is 😊 Also highly recommend the food hall for fresh produce, fabulous service. It's like the Selfridges of Sydney.

Layout of the department store is a bit confusing and uninviting considering its products/brands are supposedly be more of a "high-street" feel. This branch looks a bit more messy than the others. Also, I was trying starting to inquire about a cosmetic product with a lady and all I got was a,"Yes" without further explaining. Wasn't that a cue for her to market her product a bit better since i initiated the interest? When asked for what the moisturizing product contains, she just gave me a booklet to show the ingredients and proceeded to entertain another customer. Though for sure there was no intention to ignore, it felt a bit dismissive and it shows a lack of professionalism. You guys should train your staff better in regards to their approach AND KNOWLEDGE of their product. I might have looked like I just came from he gym but it does not mean I don't have the money to buy any of the products. Don't underestimate ANY of your customers.

A traditional department since 1838. An experience when you visit to look around and find some very fine clothing, shoes and handbags. You can walk in and walk out looking like a millionaire. Then there is the range of electrical goods for everyday use from razors to fridges, TV'S and more. The staff are impeccably trained and very helpful. This is a place to brouse wether you buy or not.

Terrible service. The staff were talking with each other when I was about to pay for my skincare products. I waited for them to finish their conversation first. The salesperson is not helpful at all. Better shop online at the official website next time if when you want buy a specific brand, and you can even get more samples to try.
