So disappointed with the lack of assistance/service at this store. We are first time customers and we were so excited to make a purchase after finding the perfect dresser for our bedroom. The purchase was made in-store but the staff member just ended up going online to their website, not through a proper system to make the purchase. She reassured us that if there were any problems with delivery, then we could contact the store for assistance. That was the benefit of ordering through the store instead of just online at home. 
Then lo and behold, on the day of delivery, our dresser could not be delivered as it was considered too bulky to be brought up one flight of stairs. Despite paying for “deluxe” delivery, they couldn’t bring it up as they were short of manpower. I called Pottery Barn immediately and they said it wasn’t their problem, we had to sort it out ourselves. 
The next day, I received a few missed calls re our delivery. No answer when I returned the calls. So I called Pottery Barn again and asked if they could clarify if the number was theirs or the delivery people. The service person said they had no idea and didn’t even have the courtesy to check with a manager or get more info to help us. 
We are just so immensely disappointed with our experience at Pottery Barn Chatswood. We love the products but their service assistants are just rude, unhelpful, lacking in any care or customer intuition. What a way to turn off customers from a wonderful brand.

Rude and unhelpful staff 
Shopping in Pottery barn in the US is a delight 
Love the product but service in sydney in particular Chatswood is the worst I have ever experienced 

Wanted to purchase a dinning table with matching chairs, the staff member today rolled her eyes as if it was an inconvenience gave minimal advise on matching chairs to a dinning table in the end we walked out and won't be purchasing 
A real shame, as I said shopping in pottery barn US is amazing but everyone in Australia looks like they hate their job

A great store with grey customer service but delivery company ANC could certainly be more reliable when offering to accommodate delivery of goods in the middle of the day!

I placed a order over the phone on the 1st dec with Racheal payment was taken on the same day however i have yet to recieve my package. When i called it was in stock they had 9 avaiable just not available online. After placing my order i was told it would recieved within 7 business days. After 7 follow up calls get told on the 8th of dec it will be posted the dhl tracking number provided does not come up on their site. Very disappointed in this service

Worst store ever. I ordered a couple of Clara beds. The first delivery had damaged bed heads for both beds, the second time around one of the bed heads was damaged and both beds had defected slats....now struggling to get refund. They were not apologetic, didn’t offer any discount to keep the sale. Response from the customer care was “we are happy to refund if that’s what you want”.....I am quite surprised that this company is still in business....
