An fairly good shop with a massive variety of usually cheap things. It's a good shop with lots of items, almost everything that you need for a good price. The service is usually pretty good but just the other days I was informed by a worker that they had an item in stock when they didn't. I wasted a bit of time on that. Overall, a good shop just a bit of a disappointing experience in the end.
Was in the lingerie section and there was a teenage boy working in this department. I was trying to hold up underwear to see if they were the correct size and he was hovering around me and staring at me. When I reported this I was told to go to a manager and after waiting over 5 minutes to speak to a manager I was told “we feel strongly about diversity and all staff members being trained in all areas”. And he was allowed to continue working in the department, staring at women. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Absolutely disgusting
Good store with all departments there. Often out of stock of products and the clothes section normally very messy. Check out lines reasonable. Prices amazing
In addition to some pretty poor customer service at the service desk, I’ve never seen a more disgusting store in my life. Without any exaggeration, there wasn’t a single item hanging in the cosmetics section, instead the stock was sprawled across the floor with rubbish mixed in between. Wish I took a photo, but I couldn’t wait to get out of there.
Kmart needs to properly train their customer service staff at checkout. At checkout the staff was arguing about whether we have paid for items within the picnic bag pack even after showing the payment receipt although she can see that it was a closed packet sold by kmart themselves. Customer Service has deteriorated recently at Chatswood store.
Shelves were mostly empty, not good for browsing. Stock levels online do not reflect the stock levels in store. BARE shelves in every section we visited. It looked like the store is trying to sell as much stock as possible before closing its doors for good. Not a good experience as a customer. We checked all the items we wanted online before visiting to ensure we could plan and budget appropriately. To our surprise, 6/7 of the household items we wanted were not available, despite showing as available in the Chatswood store online. In regard to one of the items we wanted, a staff member said the system was showing that the store had a lot of stock but that they hadn’t sold any in ages. I suspect this is why further stock hadn’t been ordered or put on display. Seems that Kmart is going out of business or needs better internal processes to ensure the shelves aren’t mostly empty.
Lots of great products at cheap prices. Kmart things don't last however I simply hang on to all of my receipts and get an exchange or refund if they don't last a year which they usually don't. Waiting for the cash registers is great- much less waiting time than a few years ago. If a woman's clothing item is popular on Instagram you can forget about being able to find it in your size unless you are a size 20 or a size 6 so get in quick- lucky they close at 10pm which is nice
Great place to shop, where you find almost anything, and most important of all is the great customer service, staff perfectly trained, it was delightful been service by David and Daniel, I will definitely recommend this store to my family and friends
I really like Kmart in Chatswood but I HATE that the registers are in the middle of the store. It would go from 3 to 5 stars if the registers were at the correct spot near the door. Fix yourself please.
