Of all the hostels I've stayed at in Australia, Noosa Heads was by far my least favorite. There's quite a bit to do in town, but the resulting crowds made it difficult to get anywhere (and especially to park anywhere!) They have parking available on site but it's very limited and the driveway appears to be a footpath so it's very easy to miss. The kitchen is very small so it's difficult to make a meal without bumping into a dozen other people, and there is a very strict policy against bringing your own alcohol as they have an on-site bar/restaurant. The rooms themselves are decent and there were lockers in mine but the mattress was yellowed and filthy. It wasn't all bad, however-- the person at reception was very kind and helpful and waking up to a scrub turkey picking at a stolen apple in the hallway was amusing. Overall, I'm sure there are people whose needs will be met by this hostel but I felt it was below the standards of all the other YHAs I've encountered. 4/10

It is a great hostel. They have good beers on tap. The food is good. The dorms can sometimes be a bit noise, when people can and go. The staff is very helpful and try to make your stay good as they can.

Nice hostel that is quite at night and rather close to the beaches compared to the others in the area. Average hostel. However, I feel it is below YHA standards with no free breakfast, no AC (rooms get insane hot), only 3 showers per gender for the whole building and due to their in house bar they are very strict on no booze of your own on the property... they also had zero social events other than a short welcome drink. Staff were very nice and helpful. Closest grocery store was a 20 min walk up hill (so come with food). Overall, not a bad place to stay, could use a few renovations... but most hostels could haha. Would recommend staying here! :)

Still the best budget accommodation in Noosa. Perfectly located near main beach, hastings st and the national park. The staff during our recent stay were helpful and friendly plus the facilities were all exceptionally clean. Parking was offered free of charge. The large deck and common area made a great way to spend an afternoon, plus there were plug points in abundance to get some work done. This was a very friendly hostel. Stayed in the Rainforest Room a shared bunkhouse. Normally these feel crowded but this one was big and spacious so it was very nice. Had a more rustic feel. Has mid size secure lockers and several spots to charge your electronics. Even with a younger crowd the atmosphere in the rooms was still reserved as the party stayed at their onsite restaurant and bar. Excellent food and drink here with a backpacker discount. Located a 5 min walk from the beach and central to the Nossa shopping it is perfectly situated. Would recommend for sure!
