Story

In 1951,’George and Company’ Real Estate opened its doors. Being one of the first agencies in the Yarraville , this was a successful agency with the highest of ethics and standards, in the times when a persons hand shake meant something.

In 1987, Nicholas started his career with the company. Having a successful 10 years, he then took over the business in 1997 and renamed the company ‘Nicholas Scott’ Real Estate. Since then this company has grown from strength to strength with its focus on ethics and customer care. To this day the success of Nicholas Scott Real Estate has been the great people who work here.

Only moved into my place a few months ago (Nicholas Scott was the estate agent) and we already have them dropping flyers into our letter box saying we have a buyer interested in our house and we should contact to sell. Clearly they only care about making a quick dollar in commission and don't actually care about their customers. 

As soon as you move in they'll happily try and kick you out again. Guess their priority is money and not customers.

Thanks to Rob and team . Fantastic service would highly recommend Rob who was very professional and assisted us through selling our house in Footscray. They made the whole experience easy and stress free. 6 Stars !!

Matthew aspiotis is the worst property manager i have ever come across.he is so arrogant,negligible and completely unprofessional.he is always busy with his personal stuff during work hours and completely ignores the clients.he will never respond to any inquiries, calls  or messages.i just wondered how he was appointed as a manager which he doesn't deserve in the next 500 thousand years,this agency will never make money if Mathew aspiotis is continued as a property manager.he doesnt even deserve one star but iam forced to do so because i cant give him less than one in this rating system. i will never recommend this kind of people to clints money and time.he is a big letdown to whole company.he is damaging the whole company's reputation.

Worst realestate agent ever found , ripoff especially the property manager Matthew doesn't wanna have a civilised comlnversations with the customers.they wont respond to ur calls and stuffs.

Edit: Since I placed this review the business has reached out to me directly. Quite quickly actually which indicates that they care about their customers.

The staff seem really nice. We were to sign on for a 12 month lease but for some reason were presented with a contract for only 6 months without notice. The agent claims there was but none of my housemates had that conversation. Not entirely pleased with this. A sign of a market that benefits landlords and agents over tenants perhaps, not sure but certainly a communication breakdown here. I will seek to remedy with the agent directly.

Beware the surcharge on payments by debit or credit card. I would suggest coming in with a cheque (although generally still costs you a bit) or a EFTPOS card, not always an option when undergoing an expensive move. I would suggest the business note that moving is an expensive activity, as is renting, and that they could perhaps absorb the cost of the transaction or shop around for a better deal.
