Nice store with convenient location, though the parking lot can get busy. We usually stop here for produce, bakery, and butcher items since it’s closer than PAK’nSAVE, where we do most of our big shops with click & collect. The app and club card help track deals, but regular prices can be a bit steep.
Stopped in to grab a bite to eat at the Cafe just inside the door. Was served by the owner who was very friendly and made sure my partners sausage roll was really well heated as requested. Nice hot coffees and pleasant outside seating area on a lovely autumn afternoon. My BLT was delicious and toasted just right. Would definitely go back next time we in Christchurch
We have high expectations of this branch because some people said this was the best New World. However one time, we had our order delivered, but the delivery guy wasn’t careful some bottles arrived broken.nnWhen I visited the branch, the manager wasn’t kind enough to explain things properly and just made me feel embarrassed. I only found out later that the branch isn’t responsible for online orders. It would’ve helped if that was clearly explained. I also wish there were an option to choose which branch handles your online delivery.nnThen today, our Clubcard wouldn’t swipe, and we had to pay full price, another frustrating moment. It’s just been a series of issues that add up. Shopping here has become inconvenient, and we’ve decided not to shop at this branch again.
A great supermarket for a quick shop. It's a bit expensive if you go for a full shop, but still good. It has a nice bakery section and a good fruit and vegetable area. My favorite is the raspberry bun, but only when it has jam in it!!
The deli chips cost to food ratio is fair. Only critique is that they are sometimes to greasy and there is little potatoes as I am skeptical of the ingredients in side them as it is not easily available to be viewed. They also only add the chicken salt to the top and don't add a lot and the chicken salt makes the very average chips slightly better.
