New World Ferry Road is easily one of the best supermarkets in Christchurch.nnThe store is always clean, well stocked and easy to get around, and you can tell a lot of pride goes into how it’s run. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful — not just polite, but actually happy to help when you need something, which makes a big difference.nnWhat really stands out for me is the quality of the fresh food. The fruit and veg, bakery and meat sections are consistently great, and everything feels fresh and well presented. It makes shopping there feel a lot nicer than just a quick dash in and out.nnIt’s also a really well laid-out store, so you’re not hunting around for ages trying to find what you need, and the checkout team keep things moving smoothly even when it’s busy.nnOverall, New World Ferry Road delivers on quality, service and atmosphere.nnA genuinely reliable, well-run local supermarket and absolutely deserving of five stars.

On this occasion I didn't visit but have in the past they had what I needed. Was well set out and had plenty of stock.nnOn this occasion I was doing a search for the missing lady. She was thankfully found alive. But very cold and hungry.

Great community supermarket. And no, that doesnt mean its small. There are some products that this New World stocks that others do not.nLots of parking. Very friendly staff

I do not like the unusual layout of the shop, nor the tendency to list the club card prices primarily with the original price being printed in a smaller font in the corner of the label.

Went to Ferrymead New World Supermarket. Bought 4x jumbo supreme cat meat at reduced price so expected it to be good. $5.75 is still a premium reduced price!!!!! But our 3 cats love this brand. So Disappointed….. all 4 boxes TOTALLY ROTTEN!!!!!!!!!!! moldy green and bubbling.nUnfortunately we live on banks peninsula so could not return or save for next time to return.n$43.16 went into the bin…… like tearing up a $50 note….. thanks for another rip off…. Next level to sell rotten meat that should have been binned!!!!
