Nowadays I use Pak'n'Save Wainoni for my weekly shop, it does lack the range of some of the other supermarkets, but it often has deals which are not available elsewhere. As well as providing me with some really great prices I also really like how friendly the staff are and especially the security guards. For a large faceless corporate that no doubt sees thousands of customers per week I strangely feel like a person.

Great shop lots of bargains and parking picked up great bargains from there that caramelized onion jam went so well in the sausage rolls I made and was under 5.00
Probably offers some of the most realistic priced groceries in Canterbury, Tuesdays the best day for specials but you need to be there early. Their fish supply is amazing but sometimes best to give a ring to see when their fresh fish come in often Tuesday afternoon.Staff are friendly there's a lot of parking, a bank machine , remember to bring your own bags.
Coffee service could be faster but they were training. The supermarket clearly has decent security so you can feel safe shopping here. Just don't loiter around the carpark at nighttime!
They double scanned $11 worth of items and I went back the next day to point that out. They said they would look at the tapes and get back to me but weeks later, nothing even after a couple of unanswered emails. You have the owner of the supermarket living in a 7 million dollar mansion and it's probably cause of scamming regular customers like this over the years
Great supermarket and the vegetables are always fresh although a little pricey at times. Plus the staff are nice but the bakery guy might need a holiday cos he sometimes looks grumpy lol.
Probably easily said - the nicest PaknSave supermarket anywhere. Bright, airy and well lit. No frills here that is for sure but you're not paying for it anyway. It's a supermarket not a vibe or a day spa. Thoroughly clean doesn't feel stuffy or smell like a dole banana box. This PaknSave should be the example to which they're all measured, not the exception. Generally fully stocked with some of the best deli, bakery and butchery counters around. Modestly valued household essentials this PaknSave has a broad catchment area for the eastern suburbs and is preferred by many and covers all demographics. Fuel is available onsite which is a convience if your grocery and fuel cycle align with your weekly budget. Good super. Well operated.
Have to say the checkout lady was fantastically polite and a credit to her store. Great specials and easy to get around. Carpark is a bit of a challenge to get around.
