Considering this is an urban grocery store in a downtown shopping center, I was quite pleased with the selection. I had no problem finding sandwiches and chips and all sorts of snacks to bring back to the hotel room and would be my driving snacks. The store is nicely laid out with lots of options.nnSelf-checkout worked well and I had no problem using my American credit card to pay for my stuff.
Unexpectedly can get many asian stuff here. It cant be found in any other supermarket. Besides, I was surprised they sell duck fats and other stuff. Lots of wine selections, breads, and fresh vegetables. Only problem is that prices are slightly higher than other supermarket, but considered they are at the city center, is reasonable.
Prices are always expensive being an inner city supermarket. But they’re getting crazy. Last week a small can of V was approx $2.30, this week $4!!! Absolutely insane price increase. That’s more expensive than a dairy. Also, to have it listed as a price promise??
This review is for the Lil Ruby coffee bar in this supermarket. The coffee isn't bad and at times in the morning they have a $3 / 8Oz coffee which is good value. The staff are friendly and try to meet customers' requirements. They have a few small tables for two people. Happy to try them again. Thank you.
As I work just around the corner, I visit this store a few times a week. The lady at the checkout area is super unfriendly and rude with everyone. My first time there, I thought it was ok, it might be one of those days… however, she is always like that, and with that bad attitude, never a 'good morning' back when I greet her.nn—————-nUPDATE -I believe that this person has had a few bad weeks. I don't think that this review changed anything, but this person has changed their attitude by 360 degrees, and I am really happy to see that, as I go there a few times a week. It's great to see such a positive attitude from this person and the rest of the team
