Great range of products and beautiful homewares, but we were completely ignored when we went to the Homeware Store on Colombo St yesterday. We walked around the shop for 15 minutes and not one of the 4 staff asked us if they could assist us - or even greeted us. There was only one other couple in the store so it was no5 as if they were busy. Very disappointed.

Ballentynes is a pretty solid department store, the sales are something of Legend, buying anything from here you know you're buying quality. A Christchurch instution pay a bit more for quality, thanks to the electronic doors I heard they saved a few people during the quake too
