Nice wee parents/family room on the lower ground floor, with two chairs for breastfeeding, a change table, microwave and some books for older kids.nElevator to get down there is pretty small and can only fit two prams.nThe room is fairly small and there is not a lot of space for a pram.
Ballantynes is a fantastic shopping destination! I had such a positive experience exploring the wide variety of stores they offer—all under one roof! Whether you’re looking for fashion, beauty, home goods, or unique gifts, there’s something for everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant. It’s the perfect place to find whatever you need, and I always leave feeling like I’ve had a great shopping experience. Highly recommend Ballantynes for anyone looking for quality and variety in one place!
My expectations were sadly deflated. We were welcomed by a happy chappy which was great.nUpstairs though, another story.nI was looked at from head to toe and sarcastically spoken to by the lass herself. She dint bother to ask if I needed help. She watched me walk around the store trying to work out the bra sizes, I'm not sure what I am, though it would have been nice to have some assistance. Nope, yo7 were too busy watching me and folding the same thing out the back.nFor the other two staffers who were over at the counter. Yes, there were clothes on the counter, ready to be folded yet you too were in full chat about something irrelevant. You too sore me, yet did nothing nor say anything when I arrived.nI have fabulous peripheral vision and many years experience in mystery shopping and I gotta say, this was the worst I've had to encounter in some time! If you are not interested in helping people especially in a delicate section, then that job is not for you.nBallantynes, you really ort to have only passionate sales people in the right department, this has made you look like a regular shop and nothing fancy.
Great range of products and friendly staff. Can't fault that.nnWhat I can fault is their online ordering. What in the 1990s? Their website doesn't appear to keep up with live stock levels, a basic function in this day and age.nYou have to take a leap of faith when ordering and hope they still have the stock.nnTwice now I've had orders cancelled due to them not having the stock available. It's very frustrating! And they don't give you any alternative solutions to consider before processing a refund.nnLeaves a lot to be desired!
