Love the color and modern design Laz boy sectional sofa, and also long-term of warranty. Pay extra $229 extended to 5 years from 3years for leather. Wood & Mechanism 10 years each already Also you get a cleaning kit as well. Importantly they do treatment for waterproof before delivery. Also staff was very helpful and kind. Happy to purchase when they have special offer.
Amazing service from Kevin the Manager over the problems I’ve had with my Sleepy Head bed purchase. He is so kind and caring and an absolute credit to Smiths City. The reason I have always shopped there is the excellent service and it was confirmed today.
Very nice store. We got a baby carrier for a good deal. The staff guy has been very nice and helpful. Still, I will never buy a new bed or couch in New Zealand. Anyway, recommend when they have sales.
I wouldn't shop at The Colombo Mall Smiths City store. We had purchased, in full, a fridge for our new home in January 2022. Smiths City kindly offerred to store our fridge until we moved in. In notifying them of our move in date, they informed us that they had 'lost' our fridge. After expressing my disappointment in their systems, I wanted for an apology. None came. They then sold us another fridge, not the correct dimensions for our kitchen, as there were no other options. They said they would refund the difference to compensate. I have just received Smith City vouchers which I will not be using. I am still waiting on an apology. An apology goes a long way. I suggest current ordering systems and customer service is reviewed and recommendations actioned. Word of mouth is powerful.
Great store with lots of choice. Gilbert was an excellent salesman. He was knowledgeable, professional and not pushy. We were very impressed and will definitely return.
We went to purchase an induction cooktop - Alan here was really great. Understood we needed some time to think and research things too, and was helpful with his small but great tips, can’t wait to use our new cooktop
Went in with my grandmother to purchase a new table and chairs. Dealt with Tani and he was absolutely amazing, friendly, polite, easy to have a convo with, was patient with nana aswell, sorted finance without a hitch! Thanks Tani for such an awesome experience your a legend!!
Order dishwasher through click and collect. Go to collect it and there is six staff members sitting on a couch having a casual meeting and told I have to wait 10 minutes because the dispatch guy is in a meeting. Walk around their shop aimisley for 10 minutes. Go to dispatch and to top it all off the storemen bangs the dishwasher down on the asphalt car park. I see why this crowd just about went under twice - no customer focus!
Very good service purchased a microwave and staff carried it out to my car.Good off street parking great range of products. I will be back.
