This may be one of the lowest ratings I've ever given. To be honest I am struggling to find anything positive to say about this store.nOn holiday and popped in to buy some additional underwear. The lingerie department shocked me with its chaos, knickers and bras haphazardly everywhere, a clearance sale shelf that look liked a bomb had gone off and bras hanging off hangers dragging through dust and dirt on the floor. No staff to be seen except for one poor overworked lady by the change rooms and a couple of ladies moving racks of stock near the registers.nThe change rooms are miles from the clothing with no signage to direct you. Over in the craft corner near the back of the store there was display shelves broken and falling apart with easily the worst dust, dirt and stains on the floors I've ever seen in any department store ever. I wish I'd taken photos now as it's hard to believe otherwise but hubby was surprised and disgusting too.nVery in need of a deep clean, more staff tidying clothes racks more regularly and obviously better store management. Do not recommend shopping here unless desperate- and that doesn't sit well with me to have to say that after having worked in retail myself over the years.
They always want to check my receipt when I am leaving, why? I am not the muppet who puts the cashier in the middle of the store, I am not stealing anything. Anyways that's my only gripe, I like going there, great range of products and prices are good too.
Kmart 'curve' clothing sizing is pretty inconsistent. But that is no reflection on this specific location. I love shopping here. The staff are lovely and there is always something to look at. The kitchen and home goods stuff is awesome.
I wanted to provide some feedback about the condition of the Riccarton Kmart store.nnUnfortunately, my recent visit was really disappointing. The store felt extremely messy and poorly maintained. There were products scattered across the floors and shelves, stock left in aisles, and many sections looked disorganised and untidy. It gave the impression that the store hadn’t been properly looked after.nnIt also made shopping more difficult because it was hard to find products, and some aisles felt cluttered. A clean, organised store creates a much better experience for customers, but this visit was the opposite.nnI understand retail stores can get busy, especially during peak periods, but the overall condition of the store seemed well below the standard I would expect from Kmart. I hope this feedback is taken on board and that more attention is given to keeping the store clean, organised, and well maintained for both customers and staff.nnThank you for taking the time to read my feedback, and I hope to see improvements on my next visit
What can I tell you about kmart that you don't already know?nnFor budget prices, you can get some decent quality goods.nnJust yesterday, I picked up a new, warm woolly jacket for only $45.00 so i'm really pleased about that.nnStop in and see if you can find yourself a bargain too.
