Located closer to City Center, this Indian grocery store in one of the biggest I have seen so far in Christchurch. The store has all the grocery essential one needs. Along with utensils and veggies. Plenty of Parking spaces and off street parking. Must visit for all the Indian or any Asian looks for species
Went to Yogiji’s Food Mart in Christchurch, it’s a really nice Indian Supermarket. Has lots of items and lots of varieties of stuff. Happy to have a supermarket like this in New Zealand.
It is an average shopping experience. The most common choice among Indians and Sri Lankans I guess for their local groceries. Usually when ever I visit there, 1 cashier only functioned. Parking space would be an issue, it is usual as many shop there. They have introduced a self checkout. If u buy spices, u have to select spices as the item. A-K or L-Z. Felt a bit annoying. A search option would have been better. To buy 3 masala tea there was no option to add. Had to press the same button,3 times.
This is the only better place in Christchurch where you can get quite good spices and other Indian food items but trust me all is going to make your pocket empty, there are other Indian stores as well but yogiji is quite famous as it seems they bring stuff directly from India. The pulses and other things will fine felt also similar to india only price difference will be there. Before purchasing don't forget to see the expire date on the product
Love coming here. Service are great! Good food and fresh vegetables. Reasonable prices.
A place to buy Indian, Sri Lankan food in chch. We are regular customers of them. Parking spaces for about 10 cars. Like the new place. Can buy all kind of spices and fresh and frozen vegetables and readymade parata, naan and samosas. Cheaper than some other places. Kind service by most of sales crew. Last visit we got 2 bottles of shampoo mistakenly we took them out without billing. One sales person shorted it out very kindly. Thank you for your services.
Variety of Indian food. Bit pricey compared to other competitors but has many products not available elsewhere nearby. Neat and tidy always. Their fresh Punjabi samosa disappoints.
Please work on your staff. they are soo rude with customer. i was a regular customer in your shop but not any more. When you're hiring someone to see their behaviour and attitude.stocks are more expensive then other indian stores.

Staff are always happy to help. Especially for my dad who is quite deaf and a bit of a boomer towards sales people if you know what I mean. I’ve seen how patiently they deal with my dad. Personally, I’ve never had any issues at all. I love your jalebi btw. It’s superb. If I lived closer to you I’d be diabetic by now.
