Shopping at the Myer Sydney City store has become more than a habit for me — it’s a pleasure, and one I keep returning to for good reason. In an age where everything is pushed online, this store quietly reminds you why shopping in person still matters.nAcross departments — menswear, cookware, bedding, fragrance, and homewares — the team members consistently stand out. They are friendly without being overbearing, knowledgeable without being scripted, and genuinely invested in helping you get the right item, not just an item. Whether it’s ensuring the perfect fit in menswear, guiding you through cookware choices, or helping select quality bedding, the assistance feels personal and unhurried.nBeing able to see colours properly, feel fabrics, assess weight and quality, and try things on makes all the difference. There are no surprises when you get home — only satisfaction. Even the layout encourages lingering: stopping for a coffee, taking a break, and making a day of it rather than rushing through a transaction.nI’ve shopped here for everything from clothing and shoes to kitchenware, linens, and fragrance, and the experience has been consistently excellent. It’s also a place layered with memory — an iconic city store that has evolved while still holding onto the values that made department stores special in the first place.nMyer Sydney City isn’t just a place to buy things. It’s a place where service still means something, quality is respected, and shopping feels human. For me, it remains my store.
Please ask the CEO and senior management to take a tour of the men’s change rooms. I’ve never seen such disgusting space before the mirrors on the doors are taped together with duct tape the carpets also together with duct tape filthy tissues with blood stains on it in the change rooms. the ventilation has got pieces of cardboard and packaging sticking through which is a fire hazard. I’ve thrown my socks in the wash after having walked on that carpet. It’s absolutely disgusting and shameful considering the amount of money we’ll spend in your department store the least you can do is offer a decent place to try on the clothing. The A change rooms upstairs are no better not a single hook on the walls. They’ve all been ripped off years ago. This is not a new issue, the change rooms have been a disgrace for years but now they are Simply pigsties!! Employ someone to run the change rooms and to empty all the clothing is piled up. It shouldn’t be your floor staff issue. They’re working hard enough as it is.
First time visiting Sydney and never had I imagined Myer can consist of 7 levels which is extremely big compared to the Myers I’ve been to in Queensland.nnLiterally the entire west Westfield building is occupied by Myer aside from the food court and second lowest floor.nnMy favourite part of the interior is the mezzanine but unfortunately it’s closed.
I visited the Chanel counter today & I'm so grateful that I met Lena who helped me choose the perfect concealer, Color corrector, and blush. She was incredibly kind, patient & knowledgeable throughout the experience. Her thoughtful recommendations made the process so easy and enjoyable. Thank you Lena, for your wonderful service. I truly appreciate your help!
This expansive department store at Westfield is a premier destination for fashion, housing an impressive variety of brands and styles under one roof. It is a fantastic place to spend a weekend, particularly if you are sourcing an outfit for an upcoming event and need a wide range of options in one location. Beyond shopping, it’s an enjoyable space to simply wander and scout the latest seasonal trends. Whether you're there for a specific purchase or just to immerse yourself in the curated collections, it offers a sophisticated and reliable retail experience.
