This establishment is a haven for a plus-sized person like me living in Southeast Asia. Great selection at the Johnny Bigg section and at the shoes section. Special mention to the Indonesian gentleman working the Clarks/Hush Puppies men's shoes section for attending to every enquiry attentively in spite of the Saturday morning crowd.
If you ever find yourself at a Myer store and need to shop for skincare, go find Helen at the Aesop counter — she’s absolutely wonderful.nnShe gave me honest, thoughtful advice and really took the time to understand my skin. We tried a few different products together, and I finally chose two:n A serum from Jurliquen The Parsley Seed Antioxidant from AesopnnIt’s only been a few days, but my skin already feels amazing. I couldn’t be happier with her recommendations. Kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful — Helen made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable.
I’d gladly give 5 stars for one particular young lady who showed, good, old fashioned service, but overall the customer service was appalling.nI entered the store from Pitt St, Ground level. I slowly browsed through 5-6 different makeup and perfume areas, yet not 1 assistant offered me help or even a greeting. I then wandered over to near the George St exit , where there were at least 5 female employees standing in a line along the fragrance wall, not 1 of them acknowledged me. I walked up to a young Asian girl 17-19 years old and asked her where Creed Aventus was located, she pointed over the top of a fixture and said “there”, she then slightly turned way from me giving me the impression she didn’t want to serve me at allnI walked over to the Creed cologne area, there were 3 female assistants talking. 2 kept talking and totally ignored me, the other lady excused herself from the conversation to assist me.nThis young lady was absolutely lovely. I was so impressed that not only did she serve me, but she went above and beyond.nOf the 15 - 16 shop assistants I saw, only one seemed to want to be there.nFiona spent at least 10-15 minutes with me and showed me 4 different Creed colognes. She sprayed them on a card, and wrote their names and price on each card. I was so impressed, I asked her name and commended her on her outstanding customer service skills.nIn a time when retailers are closing stores across Australia, you’d think these assistants would be eager to provide the type of service Fiona did to ensure return customers and continued business.nnI guess some feel being the CBD store, their jobs are safe.nNext time I go to buy cologne or perfume in this store, I’ll ask for Fiona the Irish girl, because today she made me feel like I mattered.nAn absolutely wonderful young lady who went above and beyond to show me the Creed selection.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Flavia at Armani for providing such excellent and professional service. Her beautiful smile and polite demeanor were truly appreciated. I also wish to thank her for assisting me with the lipstick selection. Thank you very much, and I wish you all the best, Flavia.
Extremely disappointed. I bought a dress from Forever New Myer for my friend’s wedding, only to discover afterwards that the back was torn. When I returned to the store, they refused to exchange it just because the tag was removed even though the damage was clearly there before I bought it. Their only solution was a tiny 10% refund, which doesn’t even cover repairs. It’s unbelievable that they sold a damaged dress and took no real responsibility. Terrible quality control and very poor customer service. I will never shop here again.
