Went to pick up my online order from the Hub section of Myers Miranda just after 8am this morning 30th November 2024. Myers opened early for the Black Friday sales. The lady who was on the counter was so helpful and pleasant. She had clients in front of her, the phone going constantly and other staff asking questions and she handled with efficiency and manners. My husband and I were very impressed.
On the top floor, you should do your staff training well. The product I bought was dirty, old and has some black scratches and quality problems. I returned it at the counter and said I would like to exchange it for a new one. Opening the new one was also very dirty and scratched. A young female employee said I can help you replace it, but it was another old woman who said you can't change it all the time. After you open the package, we can't sell it to anyone. I was like????? What are you going to sell someone? ?? A dirty old scratched defective product??? Should you report these defective products to Myer and ask the brand why every single one of your products has a defective product instead of putting the responsibility on the consumer to pay them.
Julie served us on Thursday in the morning she helped us try on ALOT of shoes before we bought. We came back in the afternoon after buying a dress for a special event that I didn't have shoes for and she again helped us for as long as it took and I had almost given up when she found the PERFECT shoes we showed her the dress. Julie was amazing and even remembered comments I made about types of shoes I like, heel heights and that I hate my toes. I'm from Wollongong but I'd happily drive to Julie everytime. Thank you so much.
Absolutely rude, appalling and discriminative behaviour from JULIE in the women's' shoes department. We were standing there waiting to be served and she came out of the reserve. She could see us of course, but purposely ignored us, choosing to ask how another lady who was trying on shoes and already attended to was going.nnMuch later when I had to go back to the store and pay for jewellery, much to my luck the handbags counter was closed so I had to go to the shoes counter and GUESS WHO was there? JULIE! She pretended for the second time she didn't see us standing there, sighed, then rudely told us to wait for the other staff member who was serving another customer, and walked away. TIME TO RETIRE JULIE. YOU ARE A COMPLETE DISGRACE TO THE MYER BRAND.
Myer is pretty dope. Gotta say, been checking it out for many years and Miranda was a new addition to my Myer trips. The Xmas selection is pretty extensive, and there’s even a Santa there. Good effort on their part, could use a few more staff offering assistance. But not complaining too much!
