I usually enjoy shopping at Big W, but my recent visit was genuinely disappointing due to the behaviour of a staff member named Max. From the moment I asked for help, Max seemed disinterested and dismissive. When I asked a simple question about stock availability, he responded with sarcasm and walked away mid-conversation. It felt rude and completely unprofessional.nnCustomer service should be about respect and support, especially when shoppers are trying to make informed purchases. I understand retail can be stressful, but that doesn’t excuse poor treatment. I left the store feeling frustrated and unwelcome.nnBig W needs to ensure staff are trained not just in procedures, but in basic courtesy. I hope this feedback leads to better service in the future—for everyone.

Big W - Miranda Fair - Westfield MirandannBig W sure is an appropriate name,  the place is big, big like really big. The aisles were so wide a car could easily drive through the aisle. Perhaps Big W could have a special vehicle for shoppers to get around in - just a thought and a fun thought.nnI was there to get a small hand held radio to replace the old transistor radio that had fallen on the floor a few days before. The staff were super friendly and helpful directing me to the location and the radio was around $12, very good value indeed.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by a worker distinguished by his large nose at Big W, and I cannot praise his work ethic enough. From the moment I approached him, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the store’s products. His willingness to go the extra mile to help customers truly sets him apart.nHis attention to detail, efficiency, and positive attitude made my shopping experience seamless. Whether it was answering questions, helping locate items, or ensuring everything was in order at checkout, he handled everything with a smile and a genuine desire to help. It’s clear that he takes great pride in his work, and it reflects in the outstanding service he provides.nBig W is lucky to have such a dedicated and hardworking team member. My 7 year old Son and I were served by Fiona at 10:25am on Saturday 24/05/25 POS 001 Trans 4109. What an amazing lady, she's a credit to the team at BIG W Miranda. Fiona was also so kind and attentive to my Son. A Super Star!

Was served by a young person named Charley, last weekend, who served me in the makeup section.  She was extremely inpatient and rude. When I asked if there were any smaller bags I could buy,  she shrugged her shoulders and couldn't be bothered to help
