Absolutely incredible. I have never tasted oysters so good. Great service with good portions. We also really enjoyed the mussels!nWe sat outside and the above head heaters made a wonderful difference. Looking forward to trying upper deck next time.
Fish and chips are fresh made, but the fish is not that fresh, so as the prawns. The scallops and calamari are pretty good.nThe take away pacific oysters is good for the price, fresh and tasty. But it’s just for take away. We didn’t know so we had it inside along with other food and the staff kindly reminded us.nNice view, but it gets really crowded and a bit squishy during weekend dinner time.
I actually really liked this place! Food is reasonably priced, and we particularly enjoyed the seafood chowder, which was hearty, comforting, and packed with ingredients.nnFish and chips were good as well, and the chips tasted great! Fish was fresh and well crumbed, but I prefer a crisper batter on my fish.nnThe lobster and oysters were also fresh and delicious, but nothing particularly noteworthy.
What a beautiful way to spend an afternoon… indoors! But I highly encourage others to eat outside. Purely so I can watch the seagulls stalk them and then as soon as they get up, bam! They are on the food!!! Staff are so friendly and get the rubbish and leftovers super quickly so the gulls don’t have much of a chance.
Wharf-side fish and chips. What could be better? We had the Basket to Share and there was plenty of crumbed fish, calamari rings, prawns, scallops and chips for more than two people. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. Weekend lunch thumbs-up.
