Beautiful place. The food was stunning, and all my dietaries considered and the alternate food I received was amazing. Didn't feel like I missed out at all. Our server was lovely and on top of everything. A small dining room which makes it feel quite special. The quality of everything was great and we had a really lovely experience for our last night in Hobar, so thank you team!
I was sadly disappointed after a dinner at Templo. $115 pp for 6 shared courses. I’d heard so much about this place, I booked for my husband’s birthday on a celebratory trip to Tassie. Unfortunately none of the dishes were a standout. Courses were small portions: and for the cost per head, I thought was disappointing. In particular the main dish, roast lamb with carrots and green leaves which was nothing special but a thin slice of lamb. The lady servicing the guests was lovely. We all ate and left within an hour and a half.
One of the best meals I’ve had in Australia. The menu and suggested wine pairings were amazing. The service was also unbelievable. I wish I caught the waiters name but he was so kind, it felt like we were eating at a mates place. If you’re going to do anything in Hobart/Tasmania Templo is a must.
We were served the 6 course meal with a vegitarian and gluten-free twist. The food bosted rustic italian ingredients with elegance, and every bite smacked with flavour and new layers of interest.nnThe staff were excellent, and the food came out with perfect pacing. Wine was delicious. Can't wait to come back.
We first dined at templo in 2018 and loved it. Gladly 6 years later it’s still as a fantastic experience as it was back then. If in Hobart and you want a great food experience you must visit templo.nRemember to book as it’s popular.nWe will be back much sooner next time.
